What is ETH gas?

What is ETH gas?

Every transaction on a blockchain requires a network fee called gas. On the Arbitrum network, gas is paid in ETH.

That means moving USDC out of your Arbitrum Wallet requires a small amount of ETH. For new users, "I came to deposit USDC and now I need ETH too?" can be a major barrier to entry.

On Tenbagger, you don't need ETH

To solve this, Tenbagger includes the ETH gas cost inside the $1 fee.

  1. You click the [Transfer] button → $1 is deducted from your USDC
  2. Tenbagger handles the ETH gas on your behalf
  3. You can withdraw right away without holding any ETH

The $1 is deducted when you click [Transfer] (Trading Account → Arbitrum Wallet); there's no need to prepare ETH separately.

External wallet users

If you connect and use an external wallet such as MetaMask directly, Tenbagger's gas-sponsoring service may not apply.

In that case, you need a small amount of ETH in your Arbitrum wallet to transact.

💡 If you're a regular user logging in with email, you don't need to prepare any ETH.
