What is a private key?

It's the master key that lets you use your wallet in any wallet app. Anyone with the private key can access the assets in that wallet, so never share it with anyone.

Someone claiming to be the Tenbagger team asked for my private key

100% scam. The official Tenbagger team never asks for your private key, email verification code, or password under any circumstances. Only contact us via the official site (tenbagger.xyz) or the official Discord.

What happens if I lose my private key?

If you lose the private key, you cannot recover the wallet from external wallet apps. As long as your email account is still valid, you can still log in to the Tenbagger app. We recommend writing the private key on paper and keeping it somewhere safe, or storing it in an encrypted password manager.
