Security Guide
Email account security matters most
Your email account is the key to your wallet.
- Don't reuse the password from other sites
- Use a password manager (1Password, Bitwarden, etc.)
Is my wallet safe?
Your wallet is protected by Privy's enterprise-grade encryption infrastructure. The private key is split and stored across multiple secure environments — no single party (including us) has access to the full key.
What is a private key?
A private key is the master key that lets you control your wallet directly. Anyone with the private key can access the assets in that wallet.
Should I export my private key?
Not required for normal use. But it's a good idea to back it up somewhere safe in case you ever want to access the wallet outside this platform.
How to export your private key
- Portfolio screen → click [Export Key]
- Copy the displayed private key
- MetaMask → [Import Wallet]
- Paste the private key → done
Storage rules
🔴 Never do this
- Send the private key over chat / SMS / email
- Take a screenshot and save it to your gallery
- Upload it to cloud storage
- Read the private key on a public computer
✅ Safe storage
- Write it down on paper and keep it somewhere safe
- Save it in an encrypted password manager
Phishing warning
🔴 The official Tenbagger team will never ask you for your private key, email verification code, or password under any circumstances.
