Trading Guide
What is leverage?
Leverage lets you control a larger position with less capital. 10x leverage means $100 of collateral controls a $1,000 position. Higher leverage means higher potential gains but also higher liquidation risk.
What is liquidation?
If your position loses enough value that your collateral can't cover it, the system automatically closes it. Using lower leverage reduces the risk of liquidation.
Cross vs Isolated margin
Cross margin shares your entire Trading Account balance across all positions. Isolated margin dedicates a fixed amount to a single position so risk is capped at that amount.
💡 If you're new, isolated mode is recommended.
Limit vs market orders
A market order executes immediately at the current price. A limit order only fills when the price reaches your specified level.
What is unrealized PnL?
It's the current profit or loss on your open positions. When you close a position, it becomes realized PnL.
