Why do I have a Wallet and a Trading Account?

Your Wallet lives on the Arbitrum blockchain and holds your funds. Your Trading Account is where your funds go when you want to actively trade. Think of your Wallet as your bank account and the Trading Account as your brokerage account — you move money between them as needed.
